The highly anticipated My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! – Pirates of the Disturbance is getting an English localization! The current ETA on a release is later this year – winter for those in the northern hemisphere, or summer for the southern hemisphere!

You are Catarina Claes: a food-loving, energetic noble and villainess who, after regaining your memories of your past life, finally gets to take a little vacation on your spring break. Boarding the Vinculum: a world-class cruise ship with all the amenities you can imagine, you quickly discover a number of friends are coming along for the trip.

What should be a relaxing cruise doesn’t go quite as planned when pirates attack and the situation seems reminiscent of a fanbook you read… this can’t be good. Can you escape this doom ending?

If you haven’t seen the anime before, I highly recommend watching it before playing the game! Not only is it a fantastic show (and light novel), but the game is also set to take place during spring break, after the initial events of the show.

I’m sure you can enjoy the game regardless, but I also get the impression that I’m all the more excited for the localization for already being in love with the cast – and, of course, the Bakarina herself.

If you’re not familiar with the premise, then all you need to know is this: Catarina Claes is born into a noble family and lives the life of a wealthy noble girl, until she hits her head as a child and remembers her past life as a high school student and otome fan! She was particularly obsessed with a game called Fortune Lover, and she quickly realises she has been isekai’d into the game; however, she isn’t transported into the game in the role of the protagonist… No, she’s the villainess.

The villainess – a.k.a. the rival of the MC who’s doomed to death or exile in every route. Determined to avoid her grisly fate, Catarina devotes herself to preventing her fated tragic endings. She’s a loveable character and incredibly dense – in an endearing way – and, ironically, becomes the otome protagonist after all in -Pirates of the Disturbance-.

About the Game

Catarina Claes is a young woman born into a family of nobility who has a memory of her past life as a high school student. She was reincarnated as a Villainess in an otome game called Fortune Lover. Exile or death were all that awaited her in this new world.

However, she managed to evade these ends, and somehow made it through the year to spring break. As fate would have it, both Catarina and her adopted brother, Keith, were to board a state-of-the-art luxury liner called the Vinculum on its maiden voyage during their time away from the Academy.

Once aboard the ship, she realised her friends were also in attendance on what was meant to be a luxurious journey at sea. The tides changed quickly when they were attacked by pirates who took over the Vinculum and held all of its passengers hostage.

This turn of events all seemed familiar to Catarina, and she begins to recall this was the storyline to a Fortune Lover fanbook. Could this mean she’s living in a resurrection of a canned doom ending?! Will Catarina and her friends be able to return to Sorcier safely?

The curtain rises for a new twist in this doom-flag-evading romantic comedy!
