The previous preorder launch was on 18th September, which is being shipped as we speak! If you missed out on that – no worries! LlamaFloofs will be hosting a second launch on Sunday 21st December at 11pm SGT (GMT+8) via her Bigcartel store. You’ll be able to order instocks, and/or place a preorder.
This second round of preorders is opening up due to popular demand; however, they’re not guaranteed. Being more of a passion project than a profit project, preorders will only go through if the minimum order quantity is met, otherwise the preorder items will be refunded and instocks shipped out.
Shipping is available worldwide, and you can pick up some of LlamaFloofs’ other merch while you’re there, like their chibi head washi tap, gachapon acrylic charms, and sticker sheets (including options for even if TEMPEST characters!).

Review
I received my Rune, Zenn, and Ish stands this week and they. are. stunning. I’ve been a fan of Squishylama’s chibi head series for years now, but this is the first time I’ve seen designs featuring their whole selves!!
Her art style is flawless and, as always, the product quality is exceptional. The acrylic is thick, and the saturation of the design is bold and rich. The acrylic can be scratched if you’re not careful, but they come with a protective film that you can leave on if you’re worried about damage.
There are also multiple layers of acrylic. The gold pattern on the cards is closer to the surface than the character design, giving the stand a 3D look. It plays into the general feeling that the characters aren’t imprisoned by the borders of the cards, but interacting with it, bursting from it, playing with it. It’s 2D art flirting with a third dimension, and I love it.
The idea of a tarot card design for even if TEMPEST is genius – the theme fits the vibe of the game, and the card choices for each character suit them perfectly. Rune being the fool, for example – I couldn’t have picked it better myself!
The design itself is thoughtful too, positioning them in a way that is aesthetically pleasing, in line with their personality, and matches the chosen card. Like Zenn draping over the border, just as his jacket always drapes off of him. His laid back, languid energy oozes from the frame, and his lopsided pose feels fitting for The Hanged Man.
Final thoughts
I had high expectations, and I’m still blown away. My partner is currently building me a set of shelves for all my Otome goodies, so once it’s ready to become my ♥shrine to beautiful 2D people♥, these tarot stands will have first dibs. I love them all, but I do have a soft spot for the soft-boy, Rune, so he may or may not get to sit front and centre (he definitely may). I can’t wait!
